Born and raised in San Antonio Texas, attorney Mario Alberto Rodriguez is a 1984 graduate of Holy Cross Catholic High School. Mario has been married to his high school sweet heart, the former Donna Esquivel for over thirty years. Together they have four adult children and one grandson. Mario and Donna were married in 1985 and are both 1989 graduates of Texas A&M University. Mario then received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1992. Since 1992, Mario has held his primary practice in South Texas and has had offices in San Antonio and Raymondville Texas. Mario has litigated cases in all regions of the State of Texas. Mario began his law practice in the area of insurance defense, but changed his practice to a Civil Plaintiff and Criminal Defense docket in 1994. Mario is the former managing partner of the Garcia & Rodriguez Law Firm in Edinburg, Texas. Mario established The Rodriguez Law Firm in 2002.
Mario is an active leader in his faith. Mario has been an active member of the A.C.T.S. retreat movement having directed several retreats and having served as Core Facilitator for his parish. Mario has served as a CCD teacher, finance committee member, Kermes Chair, Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Mario is the founding facilitator of the CARITAS Service group of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish. CARITAS is dedicated toward the “selfless service of others” and among other many services, has provided new running shoes to over 7,000 needy children in South Texas and as far south as Guatemala. Mario is the inaugural Facilitator of the KOLBE prison ministry of the Diocese of Brownsville, facilitating five prison retreats each year at the Segovia, Lopez and Willacy County State Jail Facilities. Mario currently serves as a mentor for the Segovia Unit. Mario is currently facilitating the Day with Dad ministry which provides an opportunity for qualified inmates to have their children spend a Day with Dad together in a faith-filled day inside the unit experiencing Gods healing and forgiveness.

Born and raised in Mercedes Texas, Anabel Govea, formerly Galvan is a 1984 graduate of Mercedes High School. Anabel has been married to Mr. Gregorio Govea for over thirty years. Together they have two adult children and one grandson. Anabel has been a litigation legal assistant since 1992, beginning at The Law Firm of Atlas & Hall in McAllen, Texas working in the area of insurance defense. In 1994, Anabel teamed with attorney Mario A. Rodriguez and has specialized in the areas of Civil Plaintiff litigation and Criminal Defense. Anabel served as the Office Manager of the Garcia & Rodriguez Law Firm in Edinburg, Texas. In 2002, Anabel was promoted to the position of Paralegal Supervisor for The Rodriguez Law Firm and manages the day-to- day operations of the Law Rodriguez Law Firm including case analysis, preparation and drafting of legal documents, research, document preparation, and management of firms litigation docket.
Anabel is an active leader of her faith and in the Special needs community. Anabel has been an active member of the A.C.T.S. retreat movement having served as co-director and team leader for many retreats. Anabel has served as a CCD teacher and with CARITAS Service group of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish. Anabel has been an active supporter of the Special Olympics of The Rio Grande Valley since 1993.
